  This project was conducted to help HHS more fully understand the 400+ public comments submitted in response to its 2011 NPRM concerning AODs of PHI under the HITECH Act.

• Remarks submitted to HHS/ONCCPO Joy Pritts on the 5/31/2012 HHS Notice of Proposed Rulemaking covering changes to Accountings of Disclosure

• Comments submitted to SHARPS Face 2 Face meeting in May 2012
  Evaluations and recommendations can be applied beyond specific AOD exemptions in the NPRM to provide mechanisms for expressing complex information flows among healthcare or other service providers, their business associates and associated entities.
